Sharpen your pencils (and your appetites), Riversdale PTC’s Magnificent Quiz and Curry Night is back for 2026!
It’s Friday the 13th, which feels like the perfect night for a quiz… because someone is guaranteed to have a shocker.
Join us in the Top Hall on Friday 13th March for a curry-fuelled evening of quizzing, friendly competition, and a well-earned night off from parenting, with someone else doing the cooking.
The iconic PTC Quiz Night trophy is up for grabs, and the teachers will be back in force, still chasing their first ever win. Could this be their year?
Teams of 8 are encouraged, but if you don’t have a team, don’t worry at all. Just come along and we’ll happily link you up with one on the night. Simply make yourself known to us when you arrive.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased via this website for £15 per person and includes a generous helping of curry.
Payment is via credit card. There is also an option to pay via bank transfer (select the "payment by invoice" option in this case and we will email you with details of how to transfer your payment to the PTC).
Riversdale PTC offers a complimentary ticket to all teachers and staff so please select the correct ticket type at checkout to take advantage of this offer.
Once you have selected your ticket type and quantity, please then select your free add-ons of either chicken or vegetable curry so we know which type of curry to provide for your booking.
Food and Drink
Curry, rice, dhal, bhajis and naan are included within the ticket price. Please specify chicken or vegetable curry for each ticket purchase in the free "add-on" ticket option. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specific dietary requirements, however all food will be nut free.
There will also be a card pay bar serving beer, wine by the glass or bottle, Prosecco, soft drinks and of course it wouldn't be Quiz Night without the PTC's famous vodka jellies!
Other Essential Information
The quiz will be held in the Top Hall of the school. Please enter through the main gate and use the right-hand staircase, which leads you directly to the hall. At the end of the night, please exit the school via the Pirbright Rd gate.
Drinks will be available from 7:00pm, with the quiz starting at 7:30pm sharp. Curry will be served around 8pm. Detention for anyone arriving late!
We have planned for the quiz to finish by 10:30pm, however for those organising babysitters, you may wish to add +30 mins for continued frivolity!

Terms and Conditions: Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation. It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify ticket holders of the cancellation. We do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.
